El Constructor Latino, a magazine for the construction industry, always has a variety of interesting articles. The September 14 edition is devoted entirely to the Mexican immigrant construction workforce. The magazine conducted research in Mexico to find out a variety of facts about the workers, such as: what kinds of work did they do and what educational level did they have in Mexico? For example, did you know that only 1% of construction workers in Mexico are women? In Georgia it’s 17%! You can find a copy of El Constructor Latino at construction sites, building materials stores, and places where free media are offered. Whether you are in construction or not, if you need to understand this important workforce, there will be interesting and useful facts for you in this edition!
